About Me
Tofa Jaxx is a Tanzanian singer-songwriter and genre-blending artist redefining modern African sound through his signature style, Fusion, a seamless mix of Afro Soul, R&B, Neo Soul, and Bongo Flava. Singing in both English and Kiswahili, his music bridges cultures, combining rich Swahili melodies with global influences.
Known for his magnetic live performances, Tofa has toured across Africa and Europe and shared stages with international acts including Joss Stone. His work spans music and film, with standout releases like “Restart,” which topped Namibia radio charts, and “Mozizi,” a powerful soundtrack for an award-winning animated film.
In 2025, he represented Tanzania at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) fan zone opening ceremony. Following the completion of his debut album in Dakar, Senegal set for release soon. Tofa Jaxx continues to position himself as a boundary-pushing voice in the future of African music.
