Leo is a music composer, performer, and tutor from Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. He was deeply inspired by his father, a famous African jazz guitarist. Leo has been dedicated to music since then and has performed with well-known musicians across Africa since 1990. This inspiration led him to create his band, The Swahili Blues. His songs share stories about history, culture, politics, migration, inequality, and love. With the Swahili Band Band, Leo had the privilege to perform at major festivals, both locally and internationally, sharing the joy of music with diverse audiences.
