About Me
Annette is a dynamic Tanzanian artist whose music blends African traditional sounds with R&B, Jazz, Soul, Afro Fusion, Swahili traditional music, Rock, and Zouk. Known for her powerful vocals and expressive stage presence, she creates a unique sound that connects traditional African roots with contemporary global influences.
She has performed as a backing vocalist for some of Tanzania’s leading artists, including Damian Soul, Diamond Platnumz, Jux, John Makini, Zuchu, Darasa, and Mbosso, among others. Her versatility has taken her to major stages in Tanzania and Europe, including France, Switzerland, and Spain.
Beyond performing, Annette is a passionate vocal coach and multi-instrumentalist, playing instruments such as Violin, Zeze, Limba, Piano, Marimba, Kayamba, and Percussion.
