About Me
Mabantu is a Tanzanian music duo comprising Twarha (Twaah) Mabantu and Muuh Mabantu, known for their combined talents in singing, rapping, and dancing. The duo met at Said Fella’s youth talent development initiative, Mkubwa na Wanawe, where they developed their musical skills, gained stage experience, and explored music production.
Muuh joined the initiative in late 2011, followed by Twaah in late 2012. In 2013, driven by their shared passion and ambition to build an independent musical identity, they officially established Mabantu.
Inspired by their love for music from an early age, the duo chose to pursue music professionally, believing in its potential to transform their lives and support their families. Today, music remains their primary profession and source of income, as they continue to build their identity in Tanzania’s music industry.
